These injections are part of a larger, multidisciplinary treatment plan that includes therapies like physical therapy and acupuncture for comprehensive healing.

During your first visit, one of our specialists will carefully review your pain history and any test results you may have. After a thorough examination, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan designed just for you. Injections are not typically given during the first visit, but may be recommended in your future care.

Injections are not usually the first step, as many conditions improve with non-invasive treatments. However, if your pain is significant and an injection is necessary, we can typically schedule it within a week. Any health conditions or medications may require a bit more time before moving forward.

If you’re injured but don’t have insurance, don’t worry. We work with workers’ compensation, car insurance, and other coverage options to help you get the care you need. No upfront payment is required.

Most procedures are done right in our Surprise office. Some treatments may require an outpatient center, and Dr. KellerShabrokh will guide you through your options to decide where the procedure should take place.

Not all injections use cortisone. Some, like Trigger Point and Sacroiliac injections, use non-steroid medications such as Traumeel™ and local anesthetics. If cortisone is necessary, Dr. KellerShabrokh will explain the benefits and dosage.

Most patients find the injection process fairly comfortable. There may be some minor discomfort, but we do everything possible to make you feel at ease. If you have concerns, don’t hesitate to ask us.
