Not all injections contain cortisone. Some injections, like Trigger Point and Sacroiliac injections, use non-steroid medicines such as Traumeel™ and local anesthetics. However, Traumeel™ isn’t used in the epidural space for disc problems, even though some clinics may claim it is.

If a steroid injection is necessary, Dr. KellerShabrokh will be careful with the dosage and explain everything thoroughly.
